Sheridan neighborhood sponsors outdoor lighting fair, CFL giveaway

With daylight hours on the downturn, the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization will host an outdoor lighting fair this Saturday.
“Lights On Sheridan” will feature outdoor lighting information from Home Depot, S&L Remodeling, Nilles Building Electrical and others.

Open house to explain city’s proposed streetlight utility fee

The City Council is considering whether to add a fee to property owners’ utility bills that would pay for installing and replacing streetlights throughout the city on a regular basis.
