With daylight hours on the downturn, the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization will host an outdoor lighting fair this Saturday.
“Lights On Sheridan” will feature outdoor lighting information from Home Depot, S&L Remodeling, Nilles Building Electrical and others.
The event will also include compact flourescent light bulb giveaways and information on gardening, rain barrels and energy conservation.

The City Council is considering whether to add a fee to property owners’ utility bills that would pay for installing and replacing streetlights throughout the city on a regular basis.
