Interstate 35W work continues near Quarry, Northeast Park

A major bridge repair and pavement rehabilitation project will continue to tie up traffic this week on Interstate 35W.
Northbound I-35W between I-94 and Stinson Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes beginning today, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The busy corner of Central Avenue and Broadway Street is being renewed as a gateway to Northeast.
Workers are replacing a rusty chain-link fence with smooth black ironwork that proclaims: “Welcome to the Northeast Neighborhoods.”
