Interstate 35W work continues near Quarry, Northeast Park

A major bridge repair and pavement rehabilitation project will continue to tie up traffic this week on Interstate 35W.
Northbound I-35W between I-94 and Stinson Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes beginning today, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane restrictions will remain in place through late September. Southbound lanes were reduced last week.
All lanes of southbound I-35W between I-94 and Stinson Boulevard will be closed from 8 p.m., Friday, June 29 until 5 a.m., Monday, July 2. The posted detour route will direct motorists to I-94 and Hwy 280.
The ramp from Johnson Street to I-35W southbound closed Tuesday and will remain closed until Monday, July 2.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes and avoid the construction zone if possible.
