Holland neighborhood music and movie night starts Tuesday

Break out the blankets and bug spray.
Starting tomorrow evening, the Holland neighborhood is hosting a series of free, outdoor music and movie nights. Music starts at 8 p.m. at the Edison High School amphitheater at 22nd Avenue and Quincy Street, followed by a movie at dusk.
The fun starts June 12 with local band Infestations and “Slaughterhouse Five,” a film adaptation of the Kurt Vonnegut novel.
The Rank Strangers play on June 19, followed by the film “Catch 22,” adapted from Joseph Heller’s book of the same name.
And June 26 will feature band B.C. Lucy and the 1997 sci-fi flick “Starship Troopers.”ÂÂ
The amphitheater is a sunken cove just opposite the soccer field of Edison High School. There is a picturesque bridge that overhangs the sitting area. Anywhere one wants to lay a blanket the view is amazing. Swing on by to meet friends and neighbors or just enjoy the beautiful evening of watching the stars under the stars. Melissa Slachetka

So, what happened when Valerie Perrine’s naked breasts showed up during the Tralfamadore sequence?
They were there, did you expect a censor bar?
For an outdoor movie in a neighborhood with a bunch of kids in it? Why would I?
not to mention the shower scene, of course. but who would want to detract anything from the amazing masterpiece of starship troopers? (completely without sarcasm, i actually really like this movie)
