Podcast: Interview with Diane Hofstede
As a library board member and now City Council member, Diane Hofstede has pushed for green and sustainable design elements to be incorporated into public building projects, including the Central Library’s green rooftop. But years before the current green building trend, Hofstede used green design techniques to build an eco-friendly home in the St. Anthony West neighborhood. In this podcast, Hofstede talks about that house, as well as green rooftops, her Third Ward CARE meetings, and the thriving Northeast arts scene.
