Edgewater Park dedication set for Earth Day
Posted on April 12th, 2007

The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board is planning an Earth Day dedication ceremony for the newly improved Edgewater Park.
The 2.5 acre park on the corner of Lowry and Marshall is former home of the Edgewater Inn. The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board acquired the property in 1993 and has been working with the Bottineau neighborhood since then to develop the land into a park.
The dedication ceremony will take place Saturday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m. and include a community garden planting. The Bottineau Neighborhood Association has adopted the garden and will be maintaining the plot. Dan Haugen
